My path to medicine started as a fitness instructor and nutrition coach, fueled by my passion for helping people lose weight and improve their health. Through my work, I realized that sustainable results required more than just workouts and meal plans. This led me to functional medicine, where I could blend my expertise in fitness with a deeper, holistic approach to address the root causes of health challenges and guide patients toward lasting wellness.
The Process
Initial Consultation
During the 60-minute initial consultation, I get to know your health history, goals, and obstacles. I decide on necessary labs to assess your health.
Personalized Weight Loss Plan
Based on the labs and initial history, I create a customized weight loss plan tailored to your specific needs, including dietary recommendations, exercise routines, behavioral therapy, and medical interventions if necessary
Ongoing Support
I provide continuous support through regular check-ins, progress tracking, and plan adjustments. Appointments are 30-45 minutes long and occur every 1-3 months initially, then every 6-12 months once you are happy with your progress. Patients have access to resources like nutrition counseling, fitness coaching, and mental health support.
